Authored during my time as an Empire State Fellow with the Council on Children and Families, this report synthesizes insights from doulas across New York State to illuminate systemic challenges, workforce needs, and opportunities for strengthening doula access. Their perspectives highlight the policy pathways essential to expanding equitable, culturally rooted support and advancing maternal health equity for families statewide.
